Are you looking for something to challenge your middle school students every year? Would you love to see your students excited about what it means to follow Jesus? Want a retreat that’s fun, creative and gospel-centered that you don’t have to plan? Did I mention you don’t have to plan anything?
If you said yes to any of those questions (or if you said no, but still are interested) come out to Breakaway 2012 at NorthBay in Maryland. Join nearly 500 middle school students, leaders, youth pastors and volunteers as they gather to have fun, enjoy free time, play crazy games and hear more about this God who loves them. We’ll have a rockin’ worship band, a dynamic speaker, huge big group games, a ropes course, a giant swing and a talent show for your students to show their skills.
Breakaway is a yearly retreat put together by a consortium of Philadelphia area churches. Local youth pastors and leaders get together to think, dream, pray and plan for a weekend that will not only be fun, but one that will challenge students who have a relationship with Jesus to sell out for him, and will expose unchurched kids to the hope and meaning that come from knowing more about their savior.
